How’s your week been? Has it been one of those where you’ve been rushing in a blur from pillar to post?
Work, family, exercise, play, chores, learning, commuting, shopping, catching up on the next episode of something unmissable, chill time…
It can feel like there’s never enough time to get it all done.
And all that rushing could put us at risk of burnout, stress and overwhelm. Even poor health.
It’s only when we slow down a bit that we give ourselves the chance to hear our own thoughts and take some time to ponder, look at things from different angles, think about what feels right or wrong.
At times it may feel confusing, even overwhelming, when we’re trying to make sense of it all. We may know something needs to change but we’re not always sure what, or how.
Our mind is in a rush, along with our lives.
Working with a coach is one way to give yourself the time, space and capacity to explore more deeply, hear your own thoughts, pay more attention to signals from your body, and follow, with curiosity, the evolution of your thoughts, to explore where they take you.
So that you can gain new insights, new clarity, make new choices, set some boundaries, and take new actions that are aligned with what matters to you most.
Balance and fulfillment is a goal for many of us, particularly in this post-pandemic era.
Balance gives you equilibrium and more control, and allows you to be more present.
Fulfillment means you have direction, purpose and joy from doing things you love.
There is nothing wrong with living life in the fast lane. Because at times it can be wildly exhilarating.
The trick is to make sure you’re in the lane that’s right for you, and that you know you can indicate and change lanes when you need to, slow down, speed up, or stop all together.
To be the planner and driver of your own journey, and not a passenger on an out-of-control, single track roller-coaster.
I can help you to eliminate noise, to unravel your dilemmas, to make sense, prioritise and gain clarity and focus.
“If you’re always racing to the next moment, what happens to the one you’re in?” – Nanette Mathews.
