I have this little Christmas tradition…every year I buy myself a gift, and it gets wrapped and put under the tree with a label that reads ‘Dear Christina, love from Santa xx’
That way I’m guaranteed to get at least one gift I really want.
But it’s not just about that.
The gift I get myself is usually a sign of what I want to do more of, or what I want to know more about.
This year I’ve treated myself to the book by Niven Postma – “If you don’t do politics, politics will do you…” And I can’t wait to read it! I just know that it will offer me new insights, perspectives and wisdom.
What a gift!
