In the last couple of years I’ve rediscovered my arty creative side.
I’ve been playing with acrylic pouring art, and most recently resin with alcohol inks, and have realised that it’s messy, there’s so much to learn, so many different techniques, and so much that can go wrong!
The thing I’m loving, though, is that I can’t predict the outcome of what I’m trying to create. I don’t know if the paint will mix together or not, or how it will run across the canvas, if the inks will muddy or if I’ve used the right amount of sinker ink.
I just don’t know.
And I’m becoming okay with that.
Because the ‘not knowing’ is giving me the freedom to just try. To experiment. To learn. To enjoy.
It’s giving my creativity free rein.
And I’m loving the journey!
